Knotted Wrack, Ascophyllum nodosum

The Knotted Wrack is found along the rocky shorelines of New England. The “knots” are actually gas bladders which help the algae stay upright underwater. This helps them exchange gases and absorb nutrients from the ocean which would be difficult without the bladders because the fronds would just pile up. These large 5" x 7" high quality art cards are printed on card stock, come pre-folded, packed in a clear sleeve per 10 cards, and include one white envelope for each card.
